Eiffage Construction will design and build the project jointly with the Chabanne and Christophe Blamm Architecte architectural firms. UCPA will bring its sports education expertise to the project to serve the future users of the aquatic stadium, and Dalkia will be responsible for installing, maintaining and ensuring the energy performance of the technical facilities. Banque des Territoires will serve as the partner of reference within the consortium.

The future aquatic stadium will be built within the Robert-Brettes sports complex. It will have four indoor and outdoor pool, including a 10-lane, 50 metre Olympic pool and stands seating 1,200, a fitness and wellness centre, a 190 sq. metre restaurant and 200 parking spaces.
The urban community’s new go-to destination will offer a wide variety of activities for every taste, including swimming, aqua fitness, aqua spin, baby swimming classes, prenatal gymnastics, fitness, cross-training, biking, and water slide jumping… Throughout the year, over 100 aquatic and fitness sessions led by UCPA instructors will be scheduled every week.

The energy needs of the new sports facility will be provided by a connection to a district heating system and water recovery, and water-saving equipment will optimise water management.

The works will get under way in November 2020 following a nine-month additional design studies phase, and the centre is set to open at the end of 2022.
