Parmi 23 candidats en lice, Eiffage Métal a reçu le « Special Award - Manufacturing »  décerné par la Convention Européenne de la Construction Métallique pour l’utilisation créative de l’acier dans un projet d’architecture innovante et avant-gardiste d’Art Moderne.

The complex was designed by La Rochelle-based architects Impact Urbanisme, comprising an office building, storage area and warehouse. It is located in the heart of the Arcadys business park, just a few hundred metres from the A10 motorway.  

The Autoroute Hydrogène Alpine project aims to create a regional ecosystem to promote low-carbon goods transport, using green hydrogen, between Lyon (France) and Turin (Italy). APRR has been involved in this project for a year and has now made a formal commitment with HYmpulsion company and three other partners.  

The SBTi (Science-based Targets Initiative) has approved Eiffage’s short-term emissions reduction targets, which it considers consistent with meeting the targets of the Paris Agreement and the 1.5 °C trajectory.

Eiffage, through Herbosch-Kiere (Eiffage Benelux subsidiary) in a 50/50 joint venture with Enshore Subsea (a leading UK based subsea engineering company), has signed an EPCI contract with MCA-Sénégal II for the design, manufacture and installation of undersea electrical cables in Dakar, Senegal.

Eiffage Route and Séché Environnement are inaugurating Sovatrise, a platform for the recovery of non-inert soil and concrete, on the Mi-plaine industrial estate in the communes of Chassieu and Saint-Priest (69). Sovatrise is a new local service for the management, treatment and reuse, after decontamination, of excavated soil produced on urban, property and industrial development sites in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Optimising the sorting of this spoil means that almost 100% of it can be reused after decontamination, as part of a circular economy approach.

ABC Industrie, which has s pecialized in the manufacture of cooked hams since 1950, commissioned Clemessy to build a 246 kWp ground-mounted solar power plant on a turnkey basis. The plant is located in Peyrolles-en-Provence (13) and will produce renewable energy for the company’s own consumption.

In September 2019, Eiffage Construction signed a global public performance contract with the Société de Réalisation Immobilière et d'Aménagement (SRIAUB) for the refurbishment of the humanities and social sciences sector of the Université de Bordeaux and the Université Bordeaux Montaigne, as well as for the large arts and law library on the Pessac university estate. As leader of the consortium, Eiffage Construction has joined forces with the architectural firm Patriarche, the design office Arcadis and Idex, which will operate and maintain the buildings. Work began in September 2020 and is now nearing completion with the handover of the university complex.

Our Clemessy experts are taking part in the Ariane 6 combined qualification tests, working alongside the CNES (Centre national d'études spatiales) on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA). They are implementing the measurement system used to verify and qualify the interfaces between the launcher and its launch pad, from the ELA-4 launch zone at the Guiana Space Centre. At the beginning of the week, a four-second ignition of the Vulcain 2.1 engine should enable them to confirm that the components on the ground and on board the launcher are working well together, as forecast. 

In Nice's carré d'Or, in place of the former Park Hôtel, work on the future "Park Avenue" is progressing apace. This top-of-the-range commercial project will completely redesign the aesthetics of this address located between rue Masséna and avenue du Suède, close to the Promenade des Anglais. The project will include 132 rooms and suites developed by the Centaurus hotel group, as well as several luxury boutiques developed by the City Mall group.

APRR-AREA and Eiffage have strengthened their support for the Athenas Centre through a new sponsorship agreement signed on 5 September in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, in France. APRR will make a one-off contribution of €250,000 over two years to enable Athenas, a centre specialised in the care of wild animals affected by human activities, to set up a unique lynx clinic.

SNCF Réseau has decided to gradually replace its analogue Radio Sol-Train (RST) telecommunications network with a digital GSM-R communications system over 15,000 km of track, with a view to developing the interoperability of European rail networks. Our Dorsalys teams have completed Phase 1 of the project between Mantes-la-Jolie (78) and Cherbourg-en-Cotentin (50), and work on Phase II should be completed in summer 2023.  

Les équipes d’Eiffage Immobilier ont inauguré 120 logements sur la ZAC du Bois des Granges à Claye-Souilly (77), une zone dont le développement est porté par Eiffage Aménagement et au cœur de laquelle les 1ers habitants sont arrivés en avril 2022 dans la résidence Domaine de Soave d’Eiffage Immobilier. Les travaux de l’opération auront duré 22 mois. 1 œuvre d’art a été installée en son sein, dans le cadre de la charte « 1 immeuble, 1 œuvre ».

In Colombia, on the Puerto Antioquia project, our teams from Cotema - a consortium comprising Eiffage Génie Civil Marine (lead contractor) and Termotecnica - installed the first offshore pile from the EGCM04 barge!
