Nestlé Purina entrusts Eiffage Énergie Systèmes with cooling its Veauche workshop (42)
Nestlé Purina Petcare France, specializing in cat food packaged in cans and pouches, have chosen to entrust our experts with HVAC works in their Air Cooling Pouch Area. At the same time as this project, our teams will be carrying out the plant’s HVAC maintenance (already underway) together with some electrical connection works.
Our experts are to install two large air handling units (AHUs) with indirect adiabatic cooling of 35,000 m3/h, in order to refresh the various workstations in the plant packaging workshop whose ambient air can exceed 30°C. These FläktGroup AHUs will enable them to organize air diffusion by means of textile ducts blowing fresh air three metres above the staff. Passages between the machines will be cooled in the same way, so as to improve working comfort for workshop employees.
Our teams are also to build a 13 x 5.7 x 4 m steel structure to house one of the two air cooling units. They will take charge of the AHU power supply from the low-voltage master distribution panel and jointly ensure information feedback from the facilities via the plant’s hypervision system. The works are to take place between April and June 2021.
