Soon a new lifting bridge in Hamburg
Following the award of the contract to SEH, Eiffage Métal's German subsidiary, by the Hamburg Port Authority in March 2016, the new Kattwyk bridge, built in the port of Hamburg near the old one, began to take shape.
After the first pylon segments have been assembled in May, pace was speeded up in July.
The upper pylon components, two foreland bridges and two engine houses were assembled and erected in just eight days. 4,000 tons of steel and machinery, installed in 8 large components.
