Eiffage Foundation: building on an eco-construction work integration enterprise in Saint-Denis
Located for the past 30 years in Saint-Denis, a priority neighbourhood on the outskirts of Paris, the APIJ association offers work integration schemes and training for people excluded from society and the workplace, and provides employment in the natural materials building and renovation sector through its APIJ BAT work integration enterprise.
APIJ plans to leverage future Grand Paris construction projects to promote access to quality jobs for people facing exclusion, thanks to the eco-construction sector.
Noémie Buez, an engineer at Eiffage Construction, is involved in the project, which has received funding from the Eiffage Foundation (investment in a utility van to transport wood products).
