Rail Safety: ERS arrives in Senegal
Eiffage Group's leading rail safety service provider ERS has just opened a branch in Senegal.
The company aims to establish a hub of local expertise offering worksite organization and rail safety management services throughout West Africa. ERS also wishes to support the country's railway development, notably along the Dakar – Bamako axis but also on the capillary networks.
In order to guarantee operator competence and contribute to local development, ERS is currently setting up a training centre for specific rail safety trades.
The branch, managed by Ahmadou-Bamba Thiam, knows it can rely on Eiffage Sénégal's logistical support during its development.
