Enjoy the animated areas on APRR & AREA freeways this winter

During the winter vacations, the freeways of APRR and its Rhône-Alpes subsidiary AREA are accompanying holidaymakers on the road to skiing with their "Extraordin'aires" entertainment villages. APRR and AREA are offering a multitude of free activities at six service areas until March 4, 2023. Take a break for relaxation and safety!

Enjoy the animated areas on APRR & AREA freeways this winter

Stop in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes at the "Extraordin'aires" service areas to take advantage of the APRR and AREA entertainment villages. On the A6 Paris-Lyon motorway, visit the service areas at La Chaponne (between Auxerre and Dijon) and Mâcon (between Dijon and Lyon, in both directions). On the A39, go to the Jura service area (south of Lons-le-Saunier). Finally, on the A43 towards the Alps, you can stop at the L'Isle-d'Abeau, Romagnieu and Granier service areas (each in both directions). These service areas will provide you with surprises and services adapted to a relaxing break before reaching your holiday destination! All the activities are entirely free and will delight children and adults alike.

A complete program of free activities
On the program, depending on the area: fun with the ski simulator and the photocall; "driver's license" and "biathlon" initiations for the little ones; life-saving workshops and electric car games; the possibility of taking advantage of the waxing service for your own skis and of sending postcards to your family or friends! Finally, ask for your special winter magazine "Bamboo mag", which is also free!
You can find the detailed program of events on this page: https://voyage.aprr.fr/autoroute-info/vacances-dhiver-profitez-danimations-gratuites-sur-la-route
And listen to Autoroute INFO, the radio station on FM 107.7, which guides you on the road to the vacations and keeps you informed of traffic conditions.
