Eiffage Route inaugurates a Bioklair® cycle path in Angers (49)
The construction of this two-way cycle lane has made it possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions thanks to the plant-based formulation of the Bioklair® surfacing and the warm production process.
In figures, this project represents :
- 120 m of cycle path
- 1,000 m² of Bioklair® surfacing
- 3,500 m² of roadways and parking areas in warm recycled asphalt with a high aggregate content
- Use of an Eiffaprene®E modified binder
- 700 m of cast kerbs
- 2 months of work, with access to shops maintained
Bioklair® is a natural surfacing developed by our teams, which enhances the landscape thanks to the colour of its aggregates. It makes it possible to carry out all urban developments and lanes dedicated to soft mobility in an environmentally-friendly way, and to combat heat islands.
Congratulations to all our teams involved in this project!
Thank you to Angers Loire Métropole for its confidence!
