Eiffage Énergie carries out renovation work on the CNIT at La Défense

Unibail-Rodamco is the European leader in commercial property, specialized in shopping centre, office and congress/exhibition centre management. In the Paris region, the company owns the Quatre Temps shopping centre and neighbouring CNIT: 25,800 m² containing offices, a campus, around 30 prestigious brand names including a cinema, and a luxury hotel. 

This triangular building was built in 1958 as a congress centre, and has been restructured several times since (its current configuration dates from 2009). Today, the heating and air-conditioning units in the utility tunnel are to undergo renovation work. The project includes work on the piping system running through the tunnel, and also on the air ducts, air-handling units and smoke extraction ventilators. 

The works began on 8 February 2017 and are to be carried out in 4 staggered phases between 2017 and 2020, when the final stages will be completed.
