A bridge for Angers tram

The bridge will be 136 m long, weighing 720 tonnes, and is to top two piers implanted in the river. Work is scheduled to start in September 2017. The finished structure will be enhanced by LED lighting installed by Eiffage Energie, enabling the bridge to be admired after dark.
The project was commissioned by client Angers Loire Metropole and the client's representative Alter Public, and will be managed by Egis. For Eiffage Génie Civil's Nantes teams this is the second contract obtained recently in Angers Urban Area, after the project to cover the Cœur de Maine riverbank road.
