Offshore wind farm in the United Kingdom

Eiffage, through Smulders, a Belgian subsidiary of Eiffage Métal, in consortium with GeoSea, a subsidiary of DEME, is responsible for the construction of the Moray East offshore wind farm, off the northeast coast of Scotland.

The project:

The project involves the design, supply, and installation of 100 85-meter-high jacket foundations, each weighing 1,000 tons. 55 of these foundations are constructed in Smulders' and Eiffage Métal's facilities in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, and Poland, then assembled in the United Kingdom before being installed at sea by GeoSea.

With a capacity of 950 MW, this wind farm project spans 295 km2 and is expected to power 950,000 households.
