Le nouveau siège social de BNP Paribas Fortis a remporté le Belfa Facility Public Award, un prix attribué chaque année aux projets les plus innovants

The Belfa Facility Public Award is a coveted prize in the facility management sector. Facility management encompasses everything that contributes to a pleasant, healthy and safe working environment, including infrastructure, mobility, energy and waste management. In this respect, the new headquarters of BNP Paribas Fortis had a lot to offer.

The headquarters of BNP Paribas Fortis, located in the heart of Brussels, comprises more than 100,000 m² of floor space. It is designed as a passive building meeting the highest standards of innovation and environmental performance. This project is fully in line with the Group's ambition to become the leader in the field of low-carbon construction.

Indeed, the building excels in sustainability, efficiency and connectivity:

  • over 98% of the materials in the old building have been given a new life or recycled; 
  • LED lighting replaces natural light;
  • when night falls, the majority of the electrical circuits are deactivated;
  • the roof is an "ecological" roof, solar panels have been installed as well as a system to recover rainwater.  

All these innovations, put at the service of the ecological transition, have enabled the building to receive the BREEAM Excellent label.

We are pleased to have been able to contribute to the achievement of this award with our teams from VALENS SA/NV, Duchêne SA, Reynders and Vuylsteke-Eiffage.
