Eiffage Immobilier and Alterimo, a benchmark player in the senior living sector, announce the signing of a partnership to develop and operate a new concept of serviced senior residences in Switzerland.

The Swiss market—facing an aging population (Switzerland will have 2.38 million people over the age of 65 by 2040, a 30% increase compared to today), growing demand for adapted housing, and a shortage of places in specialized care facilities—represents a territory with strong potential. In this context, the two partners aim to establish at least five residences in the short term, with a view to expanding to ten residences, targeting prime locations within major urban areas across both French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland.

Building on the success of the Cazam serviced senior residences developed by Eiffage Immobilier in France, our subsidiary in Switzerland and Alterimo seek to offer an innovative alternative between traditional housing and medico-social institutions (care homes). Designed to meet the expectations of a generation of seniors committed to their independence, these premium residences will offer around one hundred apartments ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 rooms, alongside communal areas designed for conviviality, security, and well-being: restaurant, bar, fitness room, cinema, wellness area, and a comprehensive service hub.
