The main objective of this 6 km new line is to facilitate travel without going through the center of Paris, by improving access to one of the main European air hubs.
This new rail link will reduce travel times and decrease congestion on existing lines, such as the Gare du Nord line.
As a subcontractor to the Compagnie des Signaux (CSEE), our teams are working on the Roissy-Picardie section and on the new line section, as well as on all the supervising stations, including the Roissy Charles de Gaulle railway station, in particular to:
conduct signaling execution studies,
carry out signaling work and controls to modernize stations with SEI + CSEE technology.
In this context, 5 SEIs (Integrated Interlocking Systems) and 1 CAI (Intermediate Equipment Center) will be implemented.
These devices aim to enhance the safety and performance of rail traffic.
This project is in line with major projects such as the LGV+ Paris–Lyon, where Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has already proven itself. It is on the strength of this experience that the company won this new contract, as well as the "LFRP Y-connections" contract, in a direct call for tenders on behalf of SNCF.
Starting in May, the work teams began preparing the switch blade clearing, a crucial preliminary step for the SNCF Réseau summer interventions.
The rest of the schedule includes:
"Y-connection" work, essential for connecting the old installations in service to the new SEI+ system and thus eventually testing the new system at night while returning to the current situation during the day,
Wiring of the 6 new stations,
Modifications/adaptation on the existing field,
Deployment of Safety Installations in the field.
