This is another major event in a great line up scheduled this year at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium. As part of her “Céline Dion Live 2017" tour, which has 16 scheduled dates in 14 different European cities starting on 15 June, the Canadian star will be performing at the stadium in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (N. France), built and operated by Eiffage.
This latest event reflects the success of the stadium, which already has several big name concerts lined up between now and summer 2017, with Bruno Mars on 31 March, Dépêche Mode on 29 May, Les Prodiges on 2 June, Les Vieilles Canailles on 10 June, and the North Summer Festival on 24 and 25 June that has several stars headlining (including Justin Bieber, Sting and Ibrahim Maalouf).
Céline Dion’s career spans 30 years and she has sold over 250 million albums.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, 3 February 2017.
