The three buildings, one of which is occupied by B3 Ecodesign, a subsidiary of Eiffage Construction that recycles end-of-life shipping containers to transform them into all types of buildings, will be retained and their activities focused on low-carbon construction and sustainable mobility will be maintained. A major restructuring, renovation and energy performance improvement plan will be carried out by Foncière Magellan until 2026.

As a reminder, the 21-hectare site, acquired by Eiffage Aménagement from the STELLANTIS group at the end of last year, will be the subject of a vast development operation. Together with Eiffage Immobilier, Eiffage Aménagement will develop a new business park with a surface area of nearly 40,000 m², enhanced by planted areas.

The Brittany Region and Rennes Métropole, together with SPLA Territoires, are planning to develop a Pôle d'Excellence Industrielle 4.0 (Industrial Excellence 4.0 cluster) on 53 other hectares of land transferred to the Region in 2015, with a focus on mobility and new construction techniques. In this respect, the Rennes - La Janais site has been selected by the Government as one of the "turnkey industrial sites" for the industrial revival in France.

The marketing of the first new buildings will begin this year, with the first deliveries scheduled for 2023.

Eiffage Aménagement was assisted by Emeraude Notaires (Maitre Vogel and Maitre Oréal), and by the Tourny Meyer agency (Philippe Chabasse). Foncière Magellan was assisted by Prud'homme & Baum (Maitre Baum).
