The final tunnel boring machine, Lise Enjalbert, has left Eiffage's refurbishment workshop in Thieux (77) to be transported to Toulouse. It will excavate the section from Ponts Jumeaux Station to the Laporte Shaft (4.2 km).
The tunnel boring machine Jeanne Marvig, which began excavation of the 4 km section from Colomiers Gare Shaft to the Laporte Shaft in early September, continues its progress towards Colomiers Gare Station to complete its first breakthrough before the end of the year.
After being christened on Thursday, October 31, following the tradition so cherished by our teams at the future La Vache Station, the tunnel boring machine Berthe de Puybusque began its underground journey to cover 2.5 km from La Vache - Le Grand Marché Station to Ponts-Jumeaux Station.
The excavation of the 460 m gallery using the traditional method began during the summer, with two approaches from Sept Deniers – Stade Toulousain Station and the Atelier Daturas Sud garage shaft. This gallery will enable the delivery of trains to the Line C garage workshop, where maintenance operations will be carried out.
