In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Forézienne began work on the extension and installation of the SMD3 ISDND
Last May, Forézienne's teams began work on extending the non-hazardous waste storage facility (ISDND) of the Dordogne departmental waste syndicate (SMD3), in Saint-Laurent-des-Hommes (24) in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
With one firm tranche and five optional tranches, the project includes the creation and covering of three non-hazardous waste landfill sites, representing 270,000 m3 of excavated material in total.
A non-hazardous waste storage facility (NHWF) is an installation classified for environmental protection (ICPE) that disposes of final non-hazardous and non-recyclable waste by deposit or burial. Non-hazardous waste is waste, which does not have any of the 15 hazard properties defined at European level.
Delivery expected by 2026 !
