Dorsalys takes part in deploying 18 Tis Disi toll lanes on the AREA network
Paris-Rhin-Rhône motorways (APRR) subsidiary AREA has entrusted the modernization of its toll collection system to our Dorsalys experts. The Tis Disi system will soon replace the MUST system on nine non-stop toll lanes (TSA) and nine Stop & Go lanes.
To renovate each of the 18 toll lanes on the AREA network equipped with an obsolete operating system, our teams must first remove the existing equipment and then carry out the civil engineering work, creating foundations and trenches and installing new ducts.
"The new operating system is based on the installation of technical lane cabinets (CTV) equipped with automatic controllers. The system makes it possible to manage the toll lanes in order to improve the quality of service on the entire AREA network," explains business manager Cédric Pellet, in charge of the project.
Once this new equipment has been installed, our experts are to carry out the cabling and connections, and will then proceed to commission the system with AREA technicians. Work will also go ahead using aerial platforms to supply the beacons and lasers mounted on poles at a height.
Dorsalys is a recognized partner of road and motorway infrastructure managers and operators, regularly taking part in the installation of toll systems. Our specialists also fit all-payment terminals (BTP) for AREA.
