Congratulations to the Eiffage Métal teams, thanks to whom the first translation of the gantry of the future Ariane 6 firing point took place perfectly on 24 July.
This 90 m high, 6,500-ton, mobile rail-mounted building is one of the largest in the world. Its translation is an extraordinary technical challenge.
After the general acceptance of the Infrastructure batch of the Ariane 6 Launch Complex (ELA4) on July 17 by the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), in the presence of the European Space Agency (ESA) and ArianeGroup, this new step confirms the quality of the work carried out by the Group on the premises of the Guyana Space Centre.
