Bonneuil sur Marne is the second biggest inland waterway port in France, located on a strategic axis to the south-east of Paris. It is accessible by road, rail and river and has strong potential. Its owner Haropa - Ports de Paris has acquired the former airfields close to the southern harbour basin, which should step up its development. Eiffage Énergie Systèmes' teams are in charge of replacing lighting on the access roads to this new part of the site.
Once developed, these former airfields will be used for the transit and sorting of rubble from the Grand Paris engineering works, and especially work on the future metro line 15, supervised by the SGP (Société du Grand Paris). In order to develop the area, road access has been built from Fief Cordelier roundabout and our teams are in charge of upgrading the whole lighting system and switching it over to LED technology.
Our employees thus dismantled the former facilities comprising light columns topped with 250-watt lanterns and replaced them with tapering Europole columns equipped with LED lighting heads from Schréder-Comatelec's Piano range.
For the Fief Cordelier roundabout lighting our teams installed elegant light fixtures comprising columns with LED lamps of the iRoad type from Italian urban lighting specialist iGuzzini.
