As part of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ Expercité solution for towns and local authorities, Marne and Gondoire Urban Community has appointed our teams to manage and redevelop street lighting for Mont Evrin Park in Montévrain, located in the Seine et Marne department.
Montévrain eco-neighbourhood, which houses this green space, is situated in the heart of the Val d’Europe at the gates of Disneyland Paris. It includes several business zones (ZAE) industrial areas (ZI) and Community Interest roads but also cycle paths and greenways, Mont Evrin Park and a garden. Having won the contract (for a definite and a conditional instalment) in an RFT, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes subcontracted half the project to Bouygues Énergie Services. In less than a month and a half, our companies dug 250 linear metres of trenches and carried out cable pulling work on 1,500 lm of existing ducts (the definite instalment of the contract). Our staff went on to implant 50 streetlight pole foundations (centre distance 300 x 300) roll out 900 lm of cables and fit and connect 50 decorative light pillars (Technilum’s Creille bollards).
This street lighting work took place in November and December 2018 in particularly unfavorable weather conditions, without any detrimental effect on the project underway. Our teams are still at work on the three optional instalments, corresponding to three complementary sections of the Park.
The works kicked off on 26 November 2018 and are scheduled for completion on 31 March 2019.
