Eiffage won the prize for Clarity of the Chairman’s Message, in its 2017 Registration Document, at the 9th French “Grands Prix de la Transparence” awards contest which rewards SBF 120 listed companies committed to producing clearer, more informative business information.
Every year, the Labrador communication agency conducts a Transparency study of all the public information documents published by French-registered, SBF 120 companies. In 2018, more than 46,000 data items were collected from 109 companies. These data were analysed in accordance with a scientific protocol for the evaluation of information clarity. The Grand Prix for Transparency awards are supervised by an independent scientific committee.
Assessments by automated analytical tools are backed up by expert human evaluation. Twenty-seven clear language criteria – gauging visual and textual readability, and intelligibility – were applied to choose Eiffage from among 71 contestants in the Clarity of the Chairman’s Message section. The award was presented at a ceremony in Paris on October 3, 2018.
