Musée National de la Marine: new success for Eiffage Construction & renovation of Parisian cultural sites
A few months after having successfully completed the rehabilitation of the Museum of Modern Art for the City Hall of Paris, Eiffage Construction Equipment Services was awarded by the OPPIC (Operator of Heritage and Cultural Real Estate Projects) the lot Demolition-Large Work, as part of the renovation of the Musée National de la Marine, located place du Trocadéro in Paris 16th.
The peculiarity of the operation is its location in the Palais de Chaillot, an emblematic heritage building that faces the Eiffel Tower and already hosts the Museum of Man, maintained in activity.
The project involves the structural demolition of existing structures, the creation of vertical and horizontal openings, the creation of new floor areas dedicated to new exhibition areas, and the reinforcement of existing structures.
All the logistics of this operation will be provided by the Eiffage Construction Equipment Services teams over the 26-month period, with the monitoring of all supplies at this highly sensitive site. The firm h2o Architectes will ensure the realization, the same agency mandated for the Museum of Modern Art.
A new success in the rehabilitation of Parisian cultural facilities!
