Île-de-France Mobilités entrusts Dorsalys with electrical work on its future bus depot

The Melibus network, which serves 20 municipalities in Melun-Val-de-Seine Urban Community, has been given a new bus depot equipped with a maintenance and repair centre in Vaux-le-Pénil (77).

Île-de-France Mobilités chose Dorsalys to carry out electrical work on this project.

Île-de-France Mobilités entrusts Dorsalys with electrical work on its future bus depot

Our teams of electricians in charge of high voltage facilities are to commission a delivery/transformer substation, low-voltage master distribution board and electrical cabinets. They will also install cable trays, servo systems, charging points for electrical vehicles and lighting throughout the depot (including emergency lighting).

Our employees are then to take charge of supplying low voltage power to the bus depot. They will commission the fire alarm, Voice, Data and Video network, CCTV, site access control and videophone/intercom and anti-intrusion systems.

The chosen site was occupied until early 2019 by a former postal sorting office. It is to house four buildings and a car park with capacity for 100 CNG-fuelled buses, on 2.25 hectares.

As part of this project, our electricians are to operate mainly on the “administrative operations” building which will include several types of premises: offices, meeting rooms, rest rooms, changing rooms, showers, and service and control rooms. They will also equip the mechanics workshops used for bus maintenance, the 165-space parking silo for light-duty vehicles, CNG compressor station, shelters and waste tip adjacent to the depot.

The actors involved in this High Environmental Quality (HQE) project are committed to reducing and recovering the waste produced and limiting water and electricity consumption during the works. In addition, our teams will take appropriate action to limit noise and traffic pollution, and also water, soil and air contamination, in order to keep this huge worksite clean and biodiversity-friendly.
