Eiffage Énergie Systèmes ensures HVAC maintenance for Lyon Civil Hospices’ East hospital group
Lyon University Hospital Centre, better known as the Hospices civils de Lyon or HCL (Lyon Civil Hospices), is divided into four hospital groups: North, South, East and Centre. The HCL recently entrusted our specialists with the maintenance of all its East group’s HVAC and water treatment facilities.
This hospital group covers a little over 120,000 m², employs more than 6,000 people and has 34 operating theatres. The group is the biggest hospital site in Lyon urban area, totalling 354,337 days of hospitalization and 4,572 deliveries per year.
Our specialist technicians are in charge of preventive and corrective maintenance and will be posted in Bron (in the south-east of the metropolis) in establishments belonging to the East hospital group: Pierre Wertheimer Hospital (centre for neurology and neurosurgery), Louis Pradel Hospital (cardiovascular and pneumology) and the Woman, Mother and Child Hospital specializing in gynecology-obstetrics, neonatology and pediatrics.
The operation & maintenance contract provides for the supply of equipment and materials for air filtration facilities, their technical handling, report writing, and testing to ensure the integrity of the filtration systems. This contract was launched in March 2021 and is due to end in March 2025. During these four years our teams will be providing on-call service 24/7.
