Demolition operation in the 14th
Paris Métropole Aménagement, project owner, SUEZ Consulting, project manager, and Mobius, assistant project manager Re-employment, have entrusted the Perez & Morelli teams with the cleaning and demolition of 20,000 m² of the former Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital in the 14th arrondissement.
This project, carried out jointly with DDM for asbestos removal, involves, in addition to the hospital buildings, the technical galleries running through the site, a boiler room and a 30 m high chimney.
The removal was carried out using Brokk demolition robots in order to increase the rate of work and to reduce the arduousness.
As for the reuse and recycling section, the operation is exemplary, allowing the reuse of 700 doors, 300 windows, 500 radiators, around 100 sanitary facilities, parquet floors and ceilings, as well as 18,000 m³ of materials, representing all the elements of the structures crushed and reused on site.
