The town council of Lézignan-Corbières awarded Eiffage Génie Civil a contract to build a 5,000 m³ drinking water reservoir and pipe work.
Under the project management of the Gaxieu firm, the teams carried out the civil engineering of the circular basins, each with a diameter of 28 m and a capacity of 2,500 m³, as well as a sluice chamber.
This project, which increases the capacity of the city's drinking water supply and fire reserve, required :
- 179 m of prestressed beams,
- 1,337 m² of prestressed pre-slabs,
- 1,258 m³ of concrete
- 1,150 m² of 6.54 m high circular formwork
- 133 t of reinforcement.
