Brittany–Pays de la Loire high speed rail link - go-ahead for the start of commercial operation
The French Public Railways Safety Authority (Etablissement public de sécurité ferroviaire) gave the go-ahead on May 15th for the start of commercial operation of the Brittany–Pays de la Loire high speed rail link (LGV BPL) in line with the contractually stipulated date. Teams from Eiffage are now working flat out to complete finishing work and fully prepare for the rail link’s entry into service operation scheduled for July 2nd this year.
Success of the capital increase reserved for Eiffage employees

The Pierre-Mauroy Stadium in Lille is ready to go the extra mile for the Handball World Championship
The complex in Villeneuve-d’Ascq (N. France), built and operated by Eiffage, has been selected to host the Handball World Championship on 21, 22 and 24 January 2017, for two of the knockout stages and a quarter final match.
The stadium is fully equipped to host outdoor and indoor sporting events, thanks to its retractable roof, and this week it is switching to arena mode to install the handball pitch.
The complex in Villeneuve-d’Ascq (N. France), built and operated by Eiffage, which previously hosted the final of the 2014 Davis Cup, the final stages of the 2015 European Basketball Championship and six Euro 2016 matches, has now been selected to host the Handball World Championship on 21, 22 and 24 January 2017, for two of the knockout stages and a quarter final match.
