After 7 years of work, line 4 of the Paris metro has been fully automated. This major project was made possible thanks to the expertise of a number of stakeholders.
Working with Faiveley Transport, the Eiffage Énergie Systèmes teams installed the platform facades at all 29 stations on line 4, including the extension to the south with the new Barbara and Bagneux stations.
This challenge was successfully met thanks to the urban transport experts at DORSALYS, who worked every night to ensure that the modules installed during this work could be put into service as soon as service resumed, while maintaining uninterrupted passenger service.
This technical challenge was met with flying colours, demonstrating real expertise in transport infrastructure projects, with the provision of security and platform doors, after the Lille metro, various lines in the Île-de-France network and currently underway for the Marseille metro and in other capitals, such as Brussels!
Well done to the teams involved.
