A Eiffage Énergie Systèmes team opens premises at KMØ in Mulhouse
On 3 June, a team from Eiffage Énergie Systèmes - Clemessy dedicated to digital transition in industry set up premises at the KMØ digital centre in Mulhouse. KMØ is an ecosystem which brings together and connects digital transformation players: a perfect opportunity for our team to develop projects in the fields of big data, IoT, data sciences and artificial intelligence.
KMØ ecosystem, dedicated to industrial digital transformation, brings together different players in the same place to build a new kind of industry. It aims to meet the challenge of digital transformation by connecting companies with digital players, students, start-ups etc.
«The Locomotives Club is the starting point for KMØ’s ideas and projects, grouping together managing executives from the region’s main companies. Eiffage Énergie Systèmes -Clemessy’s Managing Director Pierre Guilleminot has been involved since the beginning. These companies meet to discuss their professional issues and test new tools, like in a laboratory” said Eiffage Énergie Systèmes - Clemessy Industrial Director Valérie Théolle.
Our team is now settled at KMØ in 75 m2 comprising six offices for the moment. Their ambition is to initiate and sustain partnerships with the other tenants, in order to develop current skills and learn new ones.
In this “laboratory” spirit, they will be able to imagine and develop ground-breaking solutions to the digital transition already in operation in our customers’ companies. Our employees will also communicate around our industry brand name and enhance Clemessy’s image.
“The project continues our research and development work in progress since 2016, financed internally from the Group’s own funds. Our main aim is to ensure that Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has a response to the digital transition operating in the industrial sector” continued Valérie Théolle. Having reached the stage of maturity where they are ready to be applied, our SmartForest digital solutions will be converted to the KMØ site.
The strategic objectives identified target the construction of cross-functional solutions for the benefit of the whole Énergie Systèmes branch and Eiffage Group. The spread of ground-breaking solutions and packages developed by our team at KMØ should contribute to boosting our companies’ technology transfer, providing them with a better competitive edge and many other advantages of this kind.
