Today more than ever, safety is a daily concern for the Energy Branch’s employees. Our teams in the Hauts-de-France are setting an example once again, and their commitment to risk prevention has been rewarded.
Our Verquin agency (62) has been recognized as one of the “companies that contributed to Esso France Logistics Division’s safety performance” and rewarded by ExxonMobil for the third year running. The award winners in the four French depots of the Midstream Fuels France Division (Toulouse, Lyon SPR, Villette-de-Vienne and Villeneuve-le-Roi SPVM) were invited to a virtual ceremony during which our employes received a Tigre d’argent (Silver Tiger). This trophy, awarded by Esso France’s Logistics Department, rewards the company ranked third place for professionalism, initiative and safety performance in its operations during 2020.
The employees in our Lille agency (59) were also awarded a prize, this time by Bouygues Construction, to single out the safety approach adopted by our teams on the Sambre-Avenois Hospital Centre project site in Maubeuge (59). Our team members were Challenge Prévention winners in January 2021, reaching the top of the podium. This first distinction bodes well for the final ranking, since the three companies most committed to safety are to receive an award at the end of the year.
“Winning these two awards shows that our safety approach is recognized and valued by our customers. I would like to congratulate our employees for their commitment to risk prevention and tell them that through them, our whole Branch has been rewarded” said Eiffage Énergie Systèmes QSE Director Patrick Colin.
