Eiffage Métal carried out a rescue exercise on 6 June at the Chancy-Pougny Hydroelectric Dam renovation site on the Rhône on the Franco-Swiss border.
The simulation of an employee's fall with poly-traumatic injuries made it possible to:
- test emergency procedures
- test the responsiveness of employees
- the effectiveness of rescue teams.
For this exercise, a GRIMP team (Group for Recognition and Intervention in Perilous Environments) was mobilized to evacuate the victim. Nearly a dozen firefighters participated in the success of this test (doctor, observers, photo reporter...).
This exercise is a good practice that is essential to prepare the best possible coordination between the various actors involved in the project in the event of an emergency (Eiffage, Client, Fire Brigade, etc.).
