Clévia: interior development for Nantes Métropole’s MIN in Rezé (44)

Clévia: interior development for Nantes Métropole’s MIN in Rezé (44)

Commissioned by Nantes Urban Area and the town of Saint Herblain to handle the transfer of the Market of National Interest or MIN (Marché d’Intérêt National) to Rezé, Loire Océan Métropole Aménagement has entrusted the site’s interior development project management to Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ teams.

Our Clévia experts’ specialist knowledge in HVAC and energy engineering was needed on this highly strategic project since the MIN in Nantes is the second largest market after Rungis near Paris, in terms of both revenue and volume of goods handled.
The hundred or so companies including wholesalers, producers and logistics services organized round the MIN (established on the Ile-de-Nantes since 1969) took possession of the 40 hectares of land set aside for the market, including 740,000 m2 of converted buildings along Nantes ring road.

Our Clévia experts undertook development work on the 70 units dividing the space on this huge site. They organized cooling in the cold storage rooms (from the technical racks to be installed) and air handling in the offices of each unit. Our staff then had to install ventilation and commission aeraulic and hydraulic distribution in the units, as well as handling site plumbing and sanitation, which also featured on their roadmap.

The MIN interior development work began in September 2017 and was completed at the end of 2018.
