Habitat Jeunes Sud Aquitaine has opened a residence for 70 young people experiencing financial and social difficulty in Tarnos (Landes), with the support of the Eiffage Foundation.
Every year, Habitat Jeunes Sud Aquitaine helps 400 young people aged between 16 and 30 who are experiencing financial and social difficulty (75% living below the poverty line), to find accommodation and independence in the Landes and the Côte Basque regions.
The association has opened a new residence for 70 young people in Tarnos (Landes), located within the Sud-Aquitaine cooperation hub that brings together local training and employment stakeholders, thus promoting their access to employment.
The Eiffage Foundation is helping to furnish the communal areas of the residence, with the support of Gilles Peynoche, Director of Real Estate Development at Eiffage Construction.
