The first ship docks in Sierra Leone

The first ship carrying STS container cranes docked at wharf no. 7 in Freetown Harbour, Sierra Leone on 8 May 2018.

The new wharf built by the Eiffage Génie Civil / Bellsea / RMT consortium was ready for the ship only a year to the day after the start of the pile-driving work.

"Congratulations to all our staff, especially the Sierra Leonean, Congolese and Togolese workers on the site, you've done a great job and can be proud of the results!" Edgar Coulomb

Our teams are now on target to complete and deliver the quayside surfaces on 1 September 2018.
