Our teams, who are already specialized in site maintenance work, proved their ability to meet any industrial challenge once again while working on the Saillat-sur-Vienne Paper Mill project.
The black liquor tank roof had become corroded by this sulphur derivative and was threatening to collapse, thus preventing operator access. The paper mill urgently needed to replace it.
To successfully carry through this project, our employees first worked on a roof plan study in their own workshops. Once the plan had been confirmed, they prefabricated and assembled 37 sheet metal plates and installed railings on the paper mill site.
Building this roof with its 12-metre diameter and the footbridges which together weighed 12 tonnes represented a significant challenge.
Our teams, who were already present on the site to carry out piping work and construct pressure vessels, have thus added a new skill and a new response service for the storage tanks to their expertise
