Four Seasons Hotel owner Edmond de Rothschild Heritage entrusted a team of electricians from Eiffage Énergie Systèmes with high and low voltage works. This work on the brand-new hotel complex was finished on schedule, enabling holidaymakers to enjoy the first Christmas snow.
The five-star hotel complex comprises 55 rooms and suites, gastronomic restaurant "Le 1920" with two Michelin stars, pan-Asia Japanese fusion restaurant "Le Kaito", "Bar Edmond" wine and cocktail bar, a children's playroom, audio and video facilities for teenagers, a huge meeting room, a spectacular wine cellar, a spa with indoor and outdoor pools and an underground car park with around a hundred parking spaces.
Led by business manager Joris Barbaux and site foreman Joachim Ferrao, our staff installed high-voltage power throughout the site (from HV to terminal socket commissioning). They rolled out nearly 6,000 metres of LED ribbons, fitted 5,000 light fixtures and installed a heating system enabling snow to be cleared from 2,000 m2 of outdoor surface area. They also organized the programming of the hotel complex's lighting, managed by a Crestron home automation system built by Arthésis.
Our team then took charge of commissioning all the LV facilities, designing and installing the fire detection and safety systems in the hotel which is monitored by 190 cameras and 150 secure doors. The Voice, Data and Video network enabling sound, data and images to be transmitted throughout the hotel was also designed and fitted by our employees.
The extensive project began in 2015 and will end with the year 2017, since the first customers were expected by hotel staff on 15 December.
