The Eiffage Foundation is launching an appeal for volunteers to all Eiffage employees in France, to provide support for job seekers in partnership with the Solidarités Nouvelles face au Chômage association.
The Eiffage Foundation has entered into a multi-year partnership with Solidarités Nouvelles face au Chômage (SNC), an association created in 1985.
The association, which provides personal support for job seekers, is present throughout France and currently has 200 local solidarity groups in more than 70 French departments, forming a network of 2,400 volunteers. This enables personal tailor-made support to be provided for around 4,000 job seekers every year. The association also finances solidarity jobs that act as a springboard for a successful return to work in the social and solidarity economy. Around two out of every three people find a positive solution thanks to the support received.
The extensive SNC network can be linked to the 800 Eiffage sites in France. This should enable employees who want to get involved in a solidarity initiative on a voluntary basis to be able to do so, with a solidarity group close to their home or workplace.
