Arcachon Summer Resort
The inauguration in mid-March 2012 of the Arcachon Summer Resort (Gironde) marked the end of a project lasting more than four years. Eiffage Construction rebuilt 70,000 m² of floor space over a 3-acre area in the town centre, respecting the architectural integrity of the seaside resort that dates back to the second half of the 19th century, and which is famous for its period villas.
1,200 metres of facades were built and meticulously decorated – including frames for the balconies, pediments, gables and mosaics. The redevelopment also included 5,500 m² of retail units, 337 new apartments, a cinema and a public car park with 650 spaces.
Once again, Eiffage Construction was able to demonstrate its threefold expertise of developer, real-estate promoter and builder.
