Eiffage wins the contract to build the Huatacondo photovoltaic power plant in Chile
Eiffage, through its subsidiaries Eiffage Concessions and Eiffage Energía, has entered into an
agreement to build the Huatacondo photovoltaic power plant (98 MWp) in the Atacama desert
in Chile, continuing the Group's development in the Latin American renewable energy sector.
Eiffage partnered with the Japanese companies Sojitz and Shikoku Electric Power to finance
this major project, which represents a total investment of approximately €135 million. The
funding package comprises equity provided by the three partners, bank lending covered by the
Japanese export credit agency (NEXI) and a commercial credit line.
