Eiffage to build the Energy School at Grenoble University
The Eiffage Group was awarded, on the 20th of July 2012, a public-private partnership contract to build the future Energy School of the Research and University Education Centre of Grenoble.
It is the very first public-private partnership contract awarded within the context of the National University Renovation Plan, which aims to create 21 campuses of the 21st Century.
This school, which will house 1,450 students and 550 university and administrative staff, will group together the Joseph Fourier University and the National Polytechnic Institute.
The new 23,000 square meter building will have amphitheatres, a multimedia library, two restaurants, offices, laboratories and a large agora.
