Eiffage Travaux Publics is extending the Lyon tramway

Line T4 of the Lyon tramway system is now in service, carrying passengers between the Jet d’Eau crossroads and Vénissieux. Locally-based Eiffage Travaux Publics personnel played a major role in the work for this street-wide urban development project, which involved laying 40,000 kerb stones, building 8 stations and installing 11 technical sub-stations and operating facilities along a 5 km route, as well as erecting a 1,000 m3 architecturally-designed noise wall and (via a supplemental contract) completely redeveloping the Place Mendès-France.
